CREATION OF THE NINTENDO 64 AND THE GROWING SUCCESS OF MARIO GAMES

  

  The 23 June 1996, Nintendo Company made their come back by creating the "NINTENDO 64"

 32 millions of units around the world, what make it fourth of the Nintendo ranking in terms of best selling. In spite of this great results it considered like a partial failure because when the first playsation came out it put Nintendo in the shade and also abandonned by the main editors of the market. I would like to underligne the fact that the N64 is the first game console that integrates an analogic stick on controls.

Games launched by the N64 are Pilotwing 64, Saikyou Habu Shogi and for sure SUPER MARIO 64.


In 1996 Super Mario 64 came out  it will be the first Mario in full 3D, this game has given to players a new gameplay and also new functionality to Mario. Sales of the game reached 11 910 000

In 1999:  The first Super smash Bros came out on Nintendo 64! 3 years after the success of  Super Mario 64.  This game has shown to all the fans around the world a new aspect of Mario like they've never seen him before. In this game all characters of Mario's Universe were gathering to fight and win the battle by using items like hammers, poké ball etc.....). The success was imminent, 5 millions and half of copy all over the world.

 In 2000: The famous plumber decided to played tennis accompany by alls his team, In the first Mario Power Tennis on the N64, A full action game where severals others characters of Mario universe are in.
This funny game has been extremly succesful.



At that time in Japan the game was number 1 all games consoles, only in two weeks of presence Mario Tennis is going to total already 108.870 millions of copy.

ARIO HISTORY, FIRST STEP IN INDUSTRY AND THE BEGINNING OF THE FAME.





Mario is the most famous plamber that every kids knows and every adults know as well.

Let's go back twenty-six years ago, just at the moment where

  Mario is the official Nintendo's mascot of japanese industry, thanks to this character created in 1981 by the legendary founder of video games called "Shigeru Miyamoto". Mario first apparition wille be on a Donkey Kong video games under the name "JUMPMAN" here is just under a photo of the famous gorilla if you have no ideas how he looks like:

 

Donkey kong the gorilla has been one of the character that we've seen often in almost all mario's video games.






By the way speaking of the reason why they decided to called the character like that, a funny anecdot answer our questions they called him Mario because of the likeness that he had with the first nintendo office owner called Mario Segali.

Mario is going to be very famous when the first Mario Bros came out in 1983, and notably through this episode a new character appears and it's going to be Mario's brother called Luigi. It will be the first mario games that suggest a multiplayer mode.





 

 Luigi he's Mario's brother they're two of a kind! the only difference between these two is the color of the hat & the pullover. He follows his Bro everywhere he goes!

The main goal  is the extermination of monsters like turtle, crabs and flies that overran the sewer. You have to use Mario's feet to kick them and make them dissapear.

In 1985: 2 years after the first one a new edition of Super Mario bros has continued to forge ahead by making a new one "Super Mario Bros" on the Nintendo entertainement, new ways to hit the monsters with new world and it will be the first appearence of "Princess Peach" and "Bowser" two new character in Mario's saga.

Princess Peach she's Mario's wife he loves her so much and he does everything he can to save her because she always fall into Bowser's clutches. She's a main character in Nintendo industry,  Generally she used to be in all mario's video games.








Here is the evil monster called "BOWSERRRR!!!!!!!!"

BOWSER  is Mario's sworn enemy, he won't leave Princess Peach alone he tries to kidnap her in order to attract Mario and trap him. He's also the chief of an evil creatures horde.




 Super Mario Bros was the best selling video games (40 million units), an opinion poll demonstrated that besides children Mario was famous like others Mickey, Bugs bunny, Titi and Grosminet and even more.


In 1989: Mario Super Land is propeled on the Game Boy one of the most famous console games in the world, at that time the character Daisy appears for the first time.








The Game Boy was invented by japanese game designer " Gunpei Yokoi", after it creation in 1989 it became the most liked video game for 6 year old boys in the United States.











 

 Daisy is the  princess of sarasaland kindom in Mario universe, her emblem is a daisy that means( margeurite) in french, she has a friendship with Princess Peach. As character she's also considered as Luigi's girlfriend.









In 1993 Super Mario All Stars came out the game is a compilations in the SNES(Super Nintendo Entertainement System) of all platforms including Super Mario 1, Super Mario 2 and Super Mario 3 more then only a compilation the game has showed a real progress by innovating the graphics and the possibility to save the data. Fans were happy
